What is included

• Only fees published by the competent authority itself, verified like every other fact on this site.
• Where the authority publishes a range, for example a value-based fee, the index shows the lowest and highest amount.
• Countries whose authority publishes no fee, or states that no fee is charged, are described on their country page.

Currency conversion

Each snapshot converts every fee with one reference rate from one stated source on one date, so that rows can be compared. The euro value is a conversion, not the price you will pay. The authority charges in its own currency.

What is not included

Courier costs, translation, notarisation and any service fees charged by third parties are not part of the index. They vary and are not published by the competent authorities.

Downloads and reuse

Each snapshot can be downloaded as CSV from the price index page, with the source of every row and the exchange rate source. When you cite the index, include the snapshot date.
